Lisa, Counsellor: I've been involved with international students'consultation for a long time, and I can honestly say it's been a rewarding experience, and it's something that I would never want to change. I'd say one of the biggest complaints from overseas students is asking why there is not enough support from their tutors as in their home country. So I have to say understanding the different education system is far more important than you think. A lot of students started a new study trip but still with the idea that they are going to be in a system that's familiar to them, and a lot of troubles caused. So it is very necessary to make students aware of the new education system before the trip.
